Writing

I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God

who is sending a love letter to the world. - Mother Teresa

Books I've written:

 Don't Be Afraid
(co-written with Cindy Snider).

Together with Jessica Reesor Rempel, I wrote a peace curriculum called "We Can Make Peace" that is used in camp and school settings at Willowgrove Primary School, Fraser Lake Camp, and Glenbrook Day Camp.

In 2009, I wrote a children's book for Mennonite Savings and Credit Union called
"When We Help Each Other."

In Living More With Less (Herald Press, 2010), I wrote a chapter about life passages and celebrations. This is a great resource about simple living that covers everything from transportation to clothing to recreation to food choices.

I worked for Gather 'Round as a writer and content editor for primary to adult Sunday school curriculum. I  edited Kids Can Dig the Bible and Kids Can Be Blessed
(Faith and Life Resources).

I was commissioned to write a Bible study guide on the book of Amos for Mennonite Women Canada and USA. Let Justice Roll Down: Women Engaging the World (Herald Press, 2012).

I wrote a poem that is published in this collection - Buffalo Shout, Salmon Cry: Conversations on Creation, Land Justice, and Life Together (Herald Press, 2013). Husband Derek has a whole chapter in this book, which is an interaction between indigenous and "settler" writers.

I have also written several intergenerational Christmas plays
